Third Day prayer for the repose of the soul of Sheikh Qasim Umar Sokoto was held in his family's residence in Sokoto today the Thursday the 8th of Feb 2018 attended by large number of people led by Scholars. 

Late Sheikh Qasim was killed by Nigerian Security forces when they fired live ammunications on free Zakzaky protesters in Abuja on 9th of Jan 2018. He died in hospital in kano of injuries sustained on Monday the 5th of Feb 2018. He was laid to test in his hometown Sokoto on 7th of Feb of 2018
