A prominent Scholar member of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello, along with some other members of the Movement paid courtesy visits to leading Muslim clerics in Zaria city on Saturday as part of the traditional Sallah homage.

The visit, which IMN traditionally carries out during Muslim festivals such as Maulid, and the two Eids, took Sheikh Abdulhamid Bello to the religious institute, Zawiyya of Shaikh Babale Bakadire as the first point of call. He then proceeded to Malam Baban Dare Limamin Haure's place. Other Clerics visited include Halifa Sheikh Gali Yahuza, Sheikh Dalhatu Zazzau Imam, Malam Na Iya, Sheikh Yaquob Mai Ashafa, Malam Ishaq Malam Bawa and Alaramma Malam Musa among others.

The IMN delegation were well received in all places visited. Each of the Islamic scholar had asked after the wellbeing of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and prayed for his good health and safe return. Some of the clerics recounted the good relationship they enjoyed with Sheikh Zakzaky. "We studied together with him at Zawiyya of Malam Na Iya and also attended several Maulid sessions at place of Malam Babale Bakadire," Alaranmma Malam Musa said.

There were exchanges of pleasantries and gifts. Each of the scholars appreciated the visit and prayed for Allah's recompense in what befell the Islamic Movement and Sheikh Zakzaky.
