Muslims in Nigeria set to observe International Quds Day PDF Print E-mail

Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the spiritual guardianship of His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) will on this Friday join people from around the world to observe the International Quds Day in solidarity with the Palestinians.

The day is declared as the Day of the Oppressed by late Imam Khomeini (QS), in which peace lovers and advocates organize rallies to support the Palestinian cause, and other oppressed globally. The day also focuses on the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qiblah (direction) of the Muslims, which was occupied the by illegal state of Israel.

The Islamic Movement organizes peaceful rallies in major cities across Nigeria for the past thirty years.
