Sheikh Turi called for Muslims to unite

In his response to some of the questions fielded by journalist Sheikh Muhammad Turi urge the Muslims to unite. The importance of Muslim unity according to Malam Turi could not be over emphasised. Whoever is concerned with the unity of the Muslim Umma goes to show how sincere and conscious he is of his obligation as a Muslim. In a like manner whoever is aloof of the unity of the Muslim community goes to show how ignorant he is with regards to the contemporary issues as it affects the Muslim umma.

Citing an instance with Europe it was the realization of the importance of unity that made the whole of European nations to pursue the agenda of EU which among other things stands for a borderless Europe with common legislation, currency and other vital organs of national concern.

Our differences in opinion should not be a source of conflict but a source of strength and cohesion as no single person has monopoly of wisdom. Malam also called on Muslim to closely study the life of Imam Ali(AS), sayyida Fatima with the view to emulate them.
