Islamic Movement marks the birthday anniversary of Sayyidah Fatimah (AS).
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria marks the birthday anniversary of the Leader of women of the Worlds, Fatimah Az-Zahra(AS) on Tuesday the 20th of Jimada thani 1429( 24/6/08) at FIC Zaria.
The Anniversary was marked with some forms of activities which include, quiz competition and parades by the Fudiyyah Schools pupil across the country and Lectures.
The life of Sayyidah Az-Zahra was described as a model for all Muslims of the world. People who gathered at the venue of the programme, Fudiyyah Islamic Center, listened to lectures presented by different scholars where each spoke on an aspect of her life.

The speakers include Malama Zeenah Ibraheem, one of the coordinators of the programme, who spoke extensively on the life of the beloved daughter of the prophet (AS).
Among the speakers who graced the occasion were Malam Muhammad Turi, Mallam Ibraheem Aqeel, Mallam Haruna Abbas and Malama Maimuna Huseini from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
History of Sayyidah Fatimah(AS) is a wide area which cannot not be covered, so each speaker, within a little possible time, was able to speak only on an aspect of her life. Generally, they described her as a model for all. They concluded that loving and following her path is the only way to salvation.
Quiz competition among Fudiyyah pupils were organized in the area of Quranic recitation, seerah and general aspect of Islamic way of life. Gift were presented to the those who excelled in the competitions by the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H), during the conclusion segment of the programme.
