SISTERS FORUM ORGANIZES MAJALIS (gatherings) ON THE BIRTHDAY OF SAYYIDA ZAHRA(AS)

Sisters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has organized series of Majalis to commemorate the birthday of  daughter of the Holy Prophet (SAWA), Sayyedah Zahra (AS) in various rural settlements, towns and Kano metropolitan city neighbourhoods.

The majaalis started with rural settlements and towns outside Kano metropolitan areas in the last two weeks of Jumadal Ula, and with the metropolitan neighbourhoods in the first two weeks of Jumadal Akhir.

Participants at the various events expressed joy for being part of the programme that promoted the exemplary life of Sayyedah Zahra (AS) through various speakers at the sessions. Participants expressed hope that Sayyedah Zahra (AS) would be a role model to humanity, especially women, in this short but crucial life on earth.

Presents and gifts were presented in honour of Sayyedah Zahra (AS) to various patients in hospitals, prisons, and the needy. Also members of the Movement in Kurna and Sabon Titi wards in Kano city donated household furniture to two girls, Khadijah and Zainab, towards their marriage.  Khadijah and Zainab expressed gratitude to the Leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria Sayyed Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) for the gesture accorded them by his followers.
