Fudiyyah School Zaria holds Annual Graduation ceremony.

Fudiyyah School in Zaria held annual graduation ceremony at Babban Dodo ground in Zaria on Sunday the 23th of Shaban 1432 (24/7/2011).

Part of the activities include drama, speeches and sports by students of Nursery, primary and secondary Sections of the School. There was also quiz competition in the fields of Mathematic, Arabic, English language and computer skills.

The School’s Principal, Mallam Muhammad Kabir gave a brief history of the School in which he said it was established in 1990 with a single class. Now the school has secondary section and 15 teachers among them are graduates and holders of NCE (National Certificate in Education), he added. He called for support  from the general public and urged the parents to supplement their effort with good training of the children.

In his speech the School's Director, Mallam Abdulhamed Bello re-iterated the importance of seeking knowledge by citing its superior advantages over wealth. He added that children are the only assets to the parents. He called on parents to double effort towards children education. Tahfiz (memorization) section will soon be introduced shortly, he said.

The guest speaker, Mallam Muhammad Turi delivered a lengthy speech on significance of education and child training. He also presented gift items to excellent students. The occasion was covered by Nigeria television Authority NTA. Parents, students and general public witnessed the event.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has over 300 hundreds Fudiyyah Schools across the country.
