BOOK LAUNCH IN KADUNA Sheikh Zakzaky attends book launching in Kaduna The launching of book written by Sheikh Musa Yusuf tilted 'Diya'un Najati' took place at Yallilo ground in Kaduna on Sunday the 30th of January 2011. The book is about the vicegerents of the Prophet (SAW) as contained in Sunni sources and was written by the author before his death. Sheikh Musa was an Islamic Scholar based in Kaduna. Large number of people gained from his knowledge during his life time. The book primary cited sayings of the holy Prophets with regards to his successors according to Sunni sources. Commenting on the book , the Leader of the Islamic Movement , Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky explained that it is unbecoming upon the Prophet, being the last messenger of Allah, to leave the Ummah without appointing a guide after him.
Sheikh Zakzaky speaking during launching of the book "Diyaún Najah" Speaking on how Scholars understood the heirs of Prophet(SAWA), Sheikh Zakzaky cited the comment of Sheikh Fakhrurrazi who tried to give explanation of the Qur’anic verse ‘ O ye who believe, be weary of Allah and be among the truthful’ . Sheikh cited that the view of Sunni Scholar, Fakhrurrazi, on the verse shows that ‘ sadiq’ must be infallible and cannot tell lie against Allah or mislead people. The Scholar however lamented that understanding and getting a ‘ saqiq’ is a task that can not be achieved . The leader of Islamic Movement however, explained that ‘ sadiq’ with those qualities is known as the holy Prophet had already explained. The issue cannot be left without being explained to the Ummah, he noted. Qualities of a ‘sadeeq’ , explained by Sheikh Zakzaky include his being infallible as he never committed a sin or error intentionally or otherwise. Opinions of some Sunni scholars differed on the issue of infallibility, Sheikh said, as some of them opined that unanimous decision (ijma) of Muslims on a person is synonymous to his being infallible. However, Sheikh Zakzaky explained that the view is wrong, as the holy prophet had already explained the heirs, who are infallibles, after him in his narrations. He added that opposing the appointees of the Prophet after him is not a strange thing as the heirs of other Prophets before were also opposed. Appointees remain God’s vicegerent weather they are followed or not, he noted. On the book Sheikh Zakzaky explained that ‘ this book is a torch which guides to knowing the Prophet’s successors’ adding that the author lived a simple life in a rented apartment up to his death. He noted that the money realised from the launching will be used to secure an apartment for the family of the deceased. About 3 Million Naira was realised with highest donation from Engr. Yahya G. Karofi followed Engr. Aminu Yabo.
