The Islamic Movement announces the death of one of its members by name Mallam Muhammad Auwal Ahmad who died on Monday the 4th of April 2011 in his home town Nguru at the age of 55 after a short illness.
Mallam Muhammad Auwal, popularly known as Mallam Bala, was the representative of Members of the Islamic Movement in Nguru town, Yobe state.

Sheikh Muhammad Turi led the funeral prayer for the deceased in his hometown, Nguru on Tuesday the 5th of April attended by several hundreds of people from Nguru and neighboring towns. Also in attendance at the funeral prayer were people from Kano, Katsina, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano and Kaduna.
