THE TASK BEFORE MUSLIM ON TODAY’S
RASOUL (S) BLASPHEMY
Imam Asr Foundation Kano in
conjunction with Business forum Kano
organised a one-day symposium on
their Maulud programme on the theme
“The task and challenges before
Muslim on the Prophet (S) blasphemy
in the world today”, on 23rd
Rabiul Auwwal 1429AH at SAS Kano.
The main paper presentation was by
Mal Ibraheem Musa the editor of the
largest circulating Hausa newspaper
“Almizan” with Dr Gausu Ahmad of
Mass Communication department BUK
Kano and Dr Yusuf Adamu of Geography
department BUK Kano contributing.
The presentations were able to trace
the recent historical attempts in
blasphemous activities right from
1834 by a supposedly Muslim convert
from Morocco S Hadfield, the
renowned “satanic verses of Salman
Rushdie in the early 90’s and here
in Nigeria by “funtimes cartoon
paper” a subsidiary of Daily Times
of Nigeria and presently the efforts
of the Danish newspapers in Denmark
and Holland under the pretext of
freedom of expression.
While praising efforts by the Muslim
community the world over in
organising protest march, rallies
and other measures against efforts
geared towards defaming Rasoul (S)
by a handful few and protected by
their proprietors, more efforts need
to be made by all in making sure
that their immediate environment is
Allah’s subservient such that it
gives a strong base to really
protest and resist all unruly act.
Dr Gausu reaffirms the need for
unity amongst Muslim because Rasoul
(S) belongs to all in respective of
school of thought you belong to.
In trying to highlight the likely
reasons for the attitudes of those
that have taken abiding by Allah’s
injunction as their enemies Dr Yusuf
mentioned this could be traced to
the higher proportion of converts to
Islam that looks fearsome, thus the
dramatised “September 9/11 episode”
set forth to paint black all Muslim
as “Terrorist” and Islam as a
religion of “Terrorism” to help them
carryout various pre-planned actions
which Muslim world over are victims
of.
Moreso Dr Yusuf also reiterated the
solutions to the world’s problems
lies with following the Rasoul’s
footsteps just like it has been
mentioned by those that are not even
Muslim, the likes of Bernard Shaw
and Michael Hart are amongst the
examples.
The major advices forward at the end
of all presentations include;

All Muslim
should exhibit an exemplary life
similar to that of the Rasoul
(S) with which a lot of
teachings can be passed.

The
utilization of approaches that
would send real protest message
that the western world would
understand at the right time
using the right tactics.

The
utilization of all forms of
communications eg newsprints,
television, radio, internet etc
to have a greater outreach.

Emphasizing
on economic boycott of any
country the harbour those that
blaspheme Rasoul (S).

Written
protest letter through the
normal mail, emails etc should
be encourage to embassies of
countries that allows
blasphemous acts.
-
Muslims
world over should gear more
effort in search for more
knowledge that will be
beneficial to all.
Before the end
of the session two copies of
transcribed lectures of Sheikh
Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) in hausa
produced by Business forum Kano on
“Wajibcin son Manzo (S)”(“The place
of the Love for Rasoul”) and
“Musulunci da ‘yankasanci” (“Islam
and Nationalism”) was presented for
purchase.

Foundatuion Held its Annual Maulid
The annual Maulidin Nabiy (S) conducted by Muassasatul Zahra (AS), Kano took place Saturday 29th Rabiul Auwwal 1429AH at SAS Kano. Among the dignitaries present include the guest of honour Mal Muhammad Turi, Hajiya Saratu Shiekh Nasiru Kabara (chairperson Hisba, women wing Dawakin-kudu), Hajiya Aisha (proprietries Fatimatul Zahra nursery and primary school), and other dignitaries.
In her speech the chairperson of foundation (Muassatul Zahra) Malama Maimuna Abdullahi said they do engage themselves in set of workshops for the underprivileged, educational seminars, teach the trainer workshops, enlightenment campaigns, voluntary aid works, self-help project, conductance of annual scheduled programmes e.g. Mauluds. She also mentioned they are getting set to undertake more beneficiary projects.
Hajiya Saratu was the first speaker at the occasion where she spoke on the justification of the conductance of the annual Maulud by Muslim world over sitting references from written works. She also went on to touch on the beneficial role Maulud programme plays especially in enhancing Muslim Unity as well as an avenue for passing Rasoul’s actions to be inculcated by all.
Mal Turi in his speeches highlighted the hope and aspirations that is expected on all Maulud i.e. as a means of passing the models Rasoul (S) has used in changing and reshaping the world towards its submissiveness to the authority of Allah (T). An efficient tool or model Rasoul (S) has used and highlighted by Mal Turi with various example is his excellent virtues that were able to make unbelievers retract their adversary with the Rasoul’s message, with which he enjoyed all to follow suit. With this model Mal Turi opined change is inevitable within our today’s world, giving various examples of how the Pious servants of Allah (T) have shown how this virtues can be used. He also gave kudos for the foundation in the efforts shown so far.
