TAHFIZ SECTION OF FUDIYYAH NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL RIJIYAR-LEMO KANO CONDUCT ITS 3RD YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

                The 3rd anniversary celebration of the tahfiz section of Fudiyya nursery and primary school Rijiyar-Lemo, Kano was held on Sunday 28th Rabiul Thani 1429 in the school temporary site with parents, well wishers and Mal Muhammad Turi as the special guest.

                Mal  Muhammad Auwwl Shamsu in his opening remarks reminded the audience on the aim of establishing the section  which is  to develop pupil that will be able to memorise the Holy Quran and study it as well as to have pupil who will acquire knowledge on contemporary studies. He went on to say the school started with a number of 28 pupil, but for lack of enough classes now have only about 150 pupil from within and around the country eg from Abuja, Kaduna, Sokkwato, Jos etc.  he went on to point out areas that need improvements from parents such as prompt school fees payment, monitoring of pupil studies while at home, and school visitations to inspect and give useful suggestions. He went on also to call for all forms of donations to enable the school construct the 8 classroom as contained in the plan of the school in the next phase.

                In this year event children where tested on Quran recitation capabilities as well as the strength of  memorization, with class 3 having memorize half the Quran, class 2,  1/3 the Quran and class 1, 1/6 the Quran. The children also staged a drama in English trying to remind parents on the task that awaits educating the young ones.

                In his speech, the special guest Mal Turi further reiterated the importance of educating the young ones particularly on the memorization of the Holy Quran. The Prophet (S) has said “the best amongst you is the one that learns the Quran and teaches it”. He also went on to call on parents to endeavour to complement the task of the teachers by doing what is right in educating their wards, and try to avoid  the lapses enumerated by the school’s headmaster. He also put the school to the task of producing pupil that are competent and versatile to compete with the best students any where.

                Prizes were given to pupil and teachers that have performed very well in the last academic session.
