Questions and Answers-Q&A Q. What is the ruling of driving by women? A. Nothing is obtained about this, weather the woman is married or not. In Shariah ,the root of all things is halal unless there is a ruling on it which makes it illegal. So, thing that has not been made haram for you , is allowed. In this case, it is allowed for women weather married or unmarried to drive ( a car). Q. What is the ruling of treasury bills? A. Treasury bill is just like debt people give to bank. This type of
debt is not different from other known type of debts that banks give to
people or collect from them. So, if there is interest (ribah) in it, then
it is not allowed, and if there is no interest in it, then it is just a
debt. Q.What is the ruling of a person who touches his private part while in a state of taharah (ablution)? A. Nothing on him. In Malikiyyah it is said that his Wudhu becomes void based on one narration which says " One man was reciting holy Quran to the hearing of another person, then the person saw him touching his private part, then he asked "have you touched your private part"? the man said "yes" , then the reciter said " go and perform ablution". Base on this Malikiyyah school of thought depends, and it is only Malikiyyah ,among the rest of the Mazaheeb, has this opinion. Only them have this hadeeth , the rest don't have it, and don't even know from where it came. Malikiyyah are on this, although not based on strong (hujjah) reason. The rest of the Mazaheeb dont know this. Q. I'm selling petrol, and 'm using two different gallons for measurement, each of them is 4 liter , but one of them is little bigger than the other, is it allowed to use the smaller gallon for measurement? A It is necessary to do justice in every affair, be it business or anything else. So, don't be among those who, when they buy they full measure and when they sell they reduce measure. It is not supposed for him to use different gallons. Q. If I use a gallon (rubber gallon) it expands as a result of continuous usage for a long time, to the extent that it will consume more fuel than normal, can I change it with a new one? A. That is justice, as I mentioned earlier, you sell the way
you buy. It is supposed to be standard without reduction or addition. Q1. A group of traders selling items in one place, if a buyer comes to buy an item and stands before one of the traders , while the trader did not notice, then one of the other traders tries to divert the buyer to come and buy from him. What is the Hukm in this situation ? A. A buyer supposed to be allowed to go round and choose what he wants to buy. Do not divert a customer to you. He should be allowed to buy from whom he likes. You have all displayed your items and the customers sees them, it is possible the trader watches the customer as he stops in front of his items, so if you call hem, he (the customer) would assume that you are the owner of the items.
