The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria was in Azare, Bauchi state Sunday last week the 15th of June 2008 to deliver a closing lecture of  a three day conference organised by  the members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.

The three day general conference known as Muátumar Am is one of the many in house programmes which is aimed at bringing about enlightment  through lectures and other activities.  In Azare the programme was attended by scores of Muslim brothers and sisters from different part of Nigeria where series of lectures on different topics were presented by invited speakers.

Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, who arrived in Azare on Saturday the 14th,  gave a closing lecture on Sunday the 15th of June 2008 where he spoke to thousands of people including the community leaders as well as Ulema from Azare Town. 

The leader spoke extensively on the present state of Islam and Muslims and on role Members should play as part of their religious duty. he lamented on the deteriorating conditions of the Ummah and in  particular the state of affairs of Muslims in Nigeria.

Earlier on on his arrival in Azare on Saturday 14th of June, the leader gave an inspiring lectures where he urged members to strive hard in character building and morals as contained in the teaching of Islam
